experience

Over the past year and a half, I've grown to love, absolutely love, the art of photographing food. I have photographed and styled veggie noodles, picos, salsas, strawberries, seasoned sautees salad kits, onions and even potatoes. Truth be told, my family has always known I was doing well as a photographer but I think if you asked them when the moment was that I "made it" they would tell you the time my grandma unknowingly brought potatoes to the family cookout that I had photographed just a few weeks earlier.

The work

The work that inspires me represents a minimalist style, however, I work with clients that have an array of ideas and brand guidelines. I pay extreme attention to detail when discussing what my client is looking for, and then style and shoot based on that. I have the honor of being able to build backdrops and purchase bowls / plates / forks / napkins. I get to spend a lot of time at Target and Home Depot and I LOVE it.

The little tearless onions and I had a big feature on Huffington Post this year, check it out. I have big dreams of photographing a cookbook. I have smaller dreams of working with companies who just need some content. Let's work together.
